James E. Gaskin (author):

That's me, James E. Gaskin, computer consultant, author, writer, and general troublemaker. My friends call me the first "TechnoComic" which, at least according to them, is an honor.

Official Bio (I don't usually refer to myself in third person, but this is a business blurb)::

James E. Gaskin has written seven books on interconnecting PC networks and how they connect to the rest of the world. His most recent books include Mastering NetWare 5, IntranetWare BorderManager, and The Complete Guide to NetWare 4.11/IntranetWare for Sybex/Network Press and NetWare to Internet Gateways and Corporate Politics and the Internet: Connection Without Controversy for Prentice-Hall. James is a regular contributor to Inter@ctive Week, Network World, and Information Week, where he reviews new network technologies and writes occasional features on technology. You can reach James via e-mail at author@posersguide.com.

I'd list all the books I've written on the order page, but some are out of print so the complete list won't do you much good. There is a link from on the front page of gaskin.com, if you're really curious. Poser's Guide has a big display there, so you can get back to the funny stuff easily.

I'd list all the articles I've written, but this is supposed to be a funny site, and few of the articles contain buckets o' chuckles. But many of the articles are listed here, if you're bored or curious.

Randy Jones (artist):

Randy is a New York-based artist busily drawing for a long list of clients (some of which are shown below). Randy and I  worked together on "Karl's Konsultancy," a humor column in Open Systems Today for two years in the early '90s. I wrote, he drew, editors cringed, and readers laughed. The publisher was so desperate to dump Karl he merged the magazine with Information Week just to get away from us.

A partial list of Randy's (many) clients:

The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Newsweek, U.S. News & World Report, Interiors, CMP, MTV, INX, The Washington Post, The Star Ledger, United Feature Syndicate, Cambridge University Press, Prentice Hall regents, Rodale Press, Jewish Museum, AT&T, Conde Nast, Inner Circle, Cosmopolitan, Playboy, etc. Yeah, Randy has more credits than I do, but since I designed the book cover and the Web site, my name's larger. So there.
